Horse riding isn't just for kids.
Horse riding is a great way for busy adults to regain some 'me time' in their lives. Being with horses helps you to forget about everything else which is going on in your life, and just concentrate on the present moment.
There are many physical and emotional benefits that can be gained from spending time with horses and the great thing is, you are never too old to start.
We have quite a few riders in their 70, 80's and even 90's who still enjoy riding. OK some of them learned to ride as children, but quite a few of the people who ride with us started riding as adults.
We believe everybody should be able to benefit from the joy that horse riding can bring, so we are here to help you every step of the way, even if you have never touched a horse, or visited a stable yard before, we are sure that within a few weeks you will have gained a huge amount of confidence if you decide to try riding with us.
Are you new to riding?
Are you a skilled rider who would like to take up something new such as side saddle or western?
Perhaps you rode as a child and would like to rediscover the joy of riding.
Does riding appeal to you as a good way to exercise?
Are your kids horse crazy and you would like to know a bit more about riding and horsecare?
Would you like to own your own horse?
Would you like to meet other people who share your love of horses?
Is horse riding on your bucket list and you just want to give it a go once? (careful, you may get hooked!)
If you answered yes to any of the above, read on to find out what we can do for you.

It can sometimes be really helpful to put your mind at ease if you have a chat with some of the other adults who have recently started, and have an opportunity to watch some of the lessons before you book. If you would rather not join one of the groups...
Adults are welcome to book private, one to one, lessons/hacks or shared private lessons/hacks (for 2 to 6 people) during the week or at weekends when there is time and space available. You may prefer to start with private lessons to build you confidence until you feel ready to join a group.
For those who enjoy the social side of riding, you can pop into the Café for a chat over coffee or lunch.
