Will you have an action packed holiday taking part in the horsey activities available on site and visiting local attractions, or will you relax, unwind, enjoy the farm walks, the peace and tranquility?
Whatever you choose, The Lodge is a well equipped, comfortable, three bedroom, single-storey, detached holiday chalet situated in the unspoiled flood plain of the Deben valley. We are only a few minutes drive from the A12, but with the tranquil river and woodland walks surrounding the farm, you will feel miles away from everything.
We only have one lodge, so there is plenty of space to park, to spread out and enjoy yourself. Your own private garden, and if you enjoy early mornings or evening walks, you will find you have 82 acres to explore, almost all to yourself, the wildlife and our animals.
The lodge has everything you need: a fully fitted kitchen (oven, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine etc.), a shower room, dining area, three bedrooms (1 double, 1 single, 1 bunk, Travel Cot available) living area with French doors opening onto an outside deck which overlooks the meadows and garden. Ideal for relaxing Summer evenings. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is a ramp for wheelchair or buggy access, to the door and deck. Free Wifi, and a selection of books and games.

Pets
Well behaved, clean pets are welcome free of charge.
If you wish to bring your own horses to stay with you, please contact us to arrange details. We are able to provide livery paddocks/stabling for guests who wish to bring their own horses on holiday. There is plenty of space to park your horsebox or lorry. Please call to discuss your requirements.
Riders with their own horses can make use of our arenas and hacking in the evenings or when not in use by others. It is also possible to hire the show jumps and cross country jumps depending on the season. You may also like to visit Rendlesham Forest for a day of hacking.

Check in after 3pm and check out by 10am. Thank you. You can collect you keys from reception.
Meals
The Camargue café is happy to supply meals to your accommodation to save you cooking or you can pop in for meals, snacks, freshly ground coffee and sweet temptations. They will also make you a picnic to take out if you wish. Just speak to Charlotte.
TESCO will do home delivery to our postcode IP13 0ND. The local CO-OP in Wickham Market also delivers purchases made in store.
There is a good selection of restaurants, pubs and shops in the nearby villages of Easton, Wickham Market and Pettistree.

The Area
Valley Farm is situated in 80 acres of pasture, the river Deben runs around the property. There are traditional Suffolk dykes, ponds, woodland and hedgerows, making it ideal for bird watching. Our nature trails take you through the woods and along the river banks as well as around the pony paddocks.
We are situated less than a mile from the centre of Wickham Market, just a 10 minute, off-road walk or 3 minute drive, where you will find a good selection of activities, a variety of shops and restaurants including fish and chips, Chinese, Indian and a tea room and an award winning traditional butchers and delicatessan.
There is a bus stop in Wickham Market serving the local area including the port and Market Town of Woodbridge and the County Town of Ipswich.
We are only a short drive or cycle ride from many other picturesque villages and towns such as Easton, Pettistree and Framlingham.
We are about 12 miles from the Suffolk heritage coast resorts of Aldeburgh and Thorpeness famous for the 'house in the clouds' and its boating Meare.

Further afield - you will probably need a car for these, or there is a bus stop in Wickham Market.
