Valley Farm is an Approved Pony Party Provider, meeting strict safeguarding and welfare criteria. We are inspected by Ofsted, the Association of British Riding Schools, the British Horse Society, The Pony Club and Riding for the Disabled, so you can trust that your celebration is in safe, professional hands.
If you’re looking for something a little different for a birthday celebration, a Pony Party is the perfect choice. Children can enjoy pony rides, team games, or a grooming and plaiting session. Parents are welcome to stay with their children or relax in the onsite café.
If your group includes children who enjoy animals and walking, you are welcome to arrive up to an hour before and take a self-guided tour to meet our donkey, alpacas, goats, horses and other animal friends. Please allow at least 30 minutes for you tour before returning to reception to meet your party guide.
Most parties take place in our small indoor arena—a safe, enclosed, sheltered space. Please note that it is unheated, so appropriate clothing for the weather is recommended.

Perfect for children who prefer not to ride. With our patient ponies, grooming brushes and plaiting equipment, children can make friends with their pony and help make them look beautiful.

Pizza (cheese & tomato), sausages, fish fingers, chicken nuggets or vegetable fingers, served with chips and beans or peas. Followed by ice cream.
Sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps, pizza slices, biscuits, and ice cream.
Additional food and drinks for adults, as well as birthday cakes or cupcakes, can also be ordered directly from the café. Please advise them of any allergies or dietary requirements when booking.
Food is served in the Camargue Café (heated/air-conditioned) or on the sun terrace beside the play area If you choose to hire the Pony Club room, food can be delivered there.
Pony Parties are suitable for children and young people aged 3 and over - from complete beginners to experienced riders. We understand that some guests may never have met a pony before; our coaches ensure safety guidelines are followed so everyone feels confident and enjoys their experience. We specially select ponies suited to the size and ability of the children in the group.

We aim to create a fun, safe, and encouraging environment, helping children learn about ponies, develop confidence, and enjoy friendly sporting challenges. Supervision and guidance is provided to help children learn about appropriate behaviour around animals and to tailor the activities to the ability of the group.
We specialise in working with children and young people with SEND. If your group requires any reasonable adjustments, please let us know in advance.
Please arrive at reception 15 minutes before the start of your party time to allow for hat and boot fitting.
All children must wear full-length trousers or leggings for riding (sorry no party dresses).
Ensure clothing is suitable for the weather.

Once your party is confirmed, you will receive an email.
Step 3: When your invited guests have replied to you you can add them at any time to your online booking.
